Agronomic characterisation and commercial considerations

In Rudbar and Tarom climatic conditions, this cultivar contains 20-25% of oil with 65% of oleic acid. It comes into bearing soon but its fruits ripen late, this cultivar is propagated very well via tissue culturing, and it has a high rooting ability. In addition, its propagation via cuttings in the greenhouse misting system is successful, Rowghani is sensitive to drought and salinity but is moderately tolerant to cold. It is self-incompatible and its best pollinizers are Zard, Leccino, Bladi, Rowghani, Fishomi and Manzanila.
